Business Rhetoric is the art of persuading stakeholders. That is important when you want to create growth – personally and for your business.
Messages, tables, slides and ratios do not speak for themselves. You speak. You make people understand and you make people change thoughts and behaviour. When you can convey messages and speak convincingly, great things happen:
- You lift yourself, your career and your reputation in the eyes of others
- You come through with your suggestions, ideas, projects
- You sell better and more credibly
- You are inspiring to listen to
- You better position yourself in your network
A presentation must be more than a nice powerpoint: it must be a step towards your goals
When I design courses, organize cases, exercises and coaching, I think holistically. For me, a presentation is not just a presentation and a meeting presentation not just a meeting presentation. They are small and large parts of you, your goals, company goals.
Therefore, I always spend time and effort putting myself into your and the company’s world. So yes, the product is often a speech, presentation or meeting presentation, but in the process against the final communication product analyzes and works with:
- Goals and value: What do you want to achieve by communicating? What are the goals of the company? What value does it make for you to communicate effectively?
- Recipient and audience: Analysis, differentiation and desired response from your / your target groups
- Business, Society and Global Market: Factors Affecting your Speech / presentation / meeting
- Media: What channels and platforms should your message be on?
- Time: When is the best time to deliver your message? How often and when should you refresh it?
- Personality and passion: Who are you, how do you want to stand out, what personal goals do you have – and how do we get your personality and passion into a higher unity in your professional message?
